Local producer Mr JazziQ has been the brains behind several of Mzansi’s biggest hits including uLazi, VSOP and Woza, featuring songstress Boohle. After taking South Africa by storm with his amapiano bangers, the talented producer is hoping to break out into the international market with an exciting feature.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday 2 March, Mr JazziQ hinted at a collaboration with American hip-hop/R&B star Ty Dolla $ign, and it seems he had been manifesting the collab…

MR JAZZIQ HINTS AT COLLABORATION WITH TY DOLLA $IGN 

Ty Dolla $ign is one of the biggest R&B stars in the world. The Grammy-nominated star has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Fifth Harmony, J Cole, Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande and Roddy Rich.

With more than three album releases, Ty Dolla $ign has cemented himself as one of the most popular hip-hop/R&B acts in the world.

Mzansi’s Mr JazziQ hinted at a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign after the producer shared that the two are communicating via iMessage. Although he didn’t share the contents of the message the collaboration could be a chart-topping banger!

Expressing their excitement about the possible collaboration, one tweep wrote: “I would flip to hear backup vocals from Dolla $ign on amapiano.”

Another wrote: “Anyone who knows how good Ty is, knows that whatever he’s going to do, whether hook, verse or backing vocals is going to be sickening!”

‘HADE’

Mr JazziQ teamed up with Dinky Kunene, who made the Idols SA top 10 in 2019, and Djy Ma’Ten on a track titled Hade. The amapiano tune was officially released on Sunday 13 February.

Since leaving Idols SA, Dinky Kunene has released music alongside the likes of Josiah De Disciple, Mdu aka TRP and Kings of the Weekend (KOTW).
