The Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila said a second batch of amendment to the 1999 constitution will soon start.
Gbajabiamila disclosed this while fielding questions from reporters at Government House, Ilorin.
He said there will be more devolution of power from the exclusive to the concurrent list in the new amendment.
The Speaker also disclosed that both chambers of the National Assembly will harmonise the amendments and also send to the state houses of assembly.
In his remarks during the private visit of the Speaker to the Government House, the state governor stressed the need to have more women in government especially thirty five percent affirmative.
Political appointments he added, should be increased for womenfolk and urged other states to emulate kwara in this regard.
