Insider quoted head makeup artist Amy L. Forsythe as saying, “You simply pamper them a bit more — do a lot of skin prep and make them feel good.”
“I believe most of them utilize La Mer lip balm, even if they’re not permitted to wear makeup,” makeup artist Devin Morales said during season four.

Luxury beauty brand La Mer is renowned for its cult-favorite moisturizer, which can cost up to $2,545 per bottle.
Its lip balm, which is advertised as moisturizing and containing “a hint of mint,” costs $75 online.
Forsythe said, “Oh my goodness, I regret sincerely for having children addicted to La Mer lip balm.” “All I could think of after the second season was all of these kids walking out into the world and saying, ‘Yeah, I use La Mer lip balm’”

However, the cast of “Stranger Things” appreciates lip balm for more than its opulence. According to the makeup department, the sensation of being pampered relaxes them.
The artists added that when working with Millie Bobby Brown, they occasionally use a dry mascara wand on her lashes to create the illusion of cosmetic application.
