Former President Donald Trump will meet with an Orthodox Jewish group on Friday, in response to the controversy from his meal with antisemitic rapper Kanye West and white supremacist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes last month.
Thursday, Politico reported that Trump will deliver a speech at Trump National Doral Miami before the annual Presidents Conference of Torah Umesorah.
According to the event’s promotional materials, ‘executive directors, school presidents, principals, and askanim’ – Jewish social workers – from throughout the nation will convene to explore ways to handle the financial issues Jewish schools face.

The former president is still dealing with the repercussions of his Thanksgiving dinner with white supremacist Nick Fuentes (left) and anti-Semitic artist Kanye West (right), which took place just one week into his 2024 presidential campaign.
The Orthodox Jewish community tends to be more politically conservative and is therefore more politically allied with Trump, a Republican, who attacked American Jewish leaders for a lack of ‘loyalty’ in a Truth Social post last week.
“How fast Jewish Leaders forget that I was by far Israel’s best President. On Friday, he wrote that they should be ashamed of themselves. This lack of devotion to their closest friends and allies is the reason why so many members of Congress and others have quit supporting Israel.
Trump was already in deep water for his Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago with West, who has been making anti-Semitic rants for months, and Fuentes, a prominent white nationalist with whom West has been associating.
The meeting took place barely one week into his 2024 presidential campaign.
Trump attempted to downplay the event by claiming he did not know who Fuentes was or what he stood for when he arrived at the Palm Beach residence with the rapper.
“Kanye West invited me to supper at Mar-a-Lago last week. Shortly later, he walked up abruptly with three buddies I knew nothing about,’ Trump stated on Truth Social. Tuesday evening, many members joined us for dinner on the back patio. The supper was brief and unremarkable. Afterwards, they went for the airport.
Trump stated on Fox News, “I had never heard of the man; I had no idea what his beliefs were, and they were not communicated at the table during our very brief dinner, or it would not have been accepted.”
He has not, however, condemned the philosophy of West and Fuentes.
Instead, in a Truth Social post published on December 1, he criticized an Associated Press writer for claiming that Trump’s meeting guests will now be thoroughly screened.
According to the AP article, Fuentes was allowed into Mar-a-Lago despite the fact that only West was on the security list.
The story stated, “Fuentes evidently did not present his identification, and the car’s driver, a habitual clubgoer, entered using a credit card after losing her license.”
Trump wrote, “We have incredibly tight security, especially with the extremely brilliant Secret Service Agents on premises, but when I know someone, like I did with Ye, we will not have my guests strip searched, thrown against walls, or otherwise violently assaulted.” ‘There are no anonymous sources. Contrary accounts are FALSE NEWS! ‘
