Jessie J is reminiscing on the traumatic experience exactly one year after losing her “angel baby.”
The 34-year-old “Domino” hitmaker courageously said that, despite the passage of a year, his loss “still aches.”
The Grammy-nominated singer acknowledged on her Instagram Story that “grief is such a strange and intimate journey.”
She addressed her 12 million followers, “I was told a year ago today that my baby no longer had a heartbeat.”
“Even though I can now recount the tale without sobbing, I am still uncovering all the advantages this experience has given me.”
Jessie, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, says the experience has given her “strength, wisdom, empathy, and gratitude,” but she admits, “it still hurts, and all day I’ve been thinking about all the women and men and families who have been through this multiple times and how incredibly strong they are.”
On her Instagram Story, Jessie J characterized her loss as “such a strange and personal journey.”

“Time helps, but it never really disappears,” she continued. “Sending love and strength to the hearts of those who are now facing this.”
“And to my darling little baby. I can sense you everywhere “Today in particular,” she finished her mournful post.

Later, she addressed her supporters at the same event, saying, “I was told years ago that I could not have children, but I never believed it. I don’t believe in lying.”
The pop sensation continued, visibly choked up as she rocked back and forth to quiet music, “I opted to have a kid by myself. And then, by some miracle, it worked briefly. And yesterday, well, yep, yesterday was s–t.”
Currently, Jessie is dating basketball player Chanan Safir Colman.
