    The TG/PS underscored the need for students and teachers to be well-prepared to win laurels from the competitions, saying “I want to encourage our school administrators and teachers to start preparing ahead by organising inter-school debates among themselves knowing that there is no gain, without pain, hence they should sacrifice today, to enjoy tomorrow”.

    She thanked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support to the education sector, through the provision of new school structures, renovation of existing ones, and equipping laboratories and libraries public schools, stressing that there are no more excuses for laxity or non-performance by anyone in government-owned schools.

    Solarin also cautioned against the abuse of internet usage, enjoining everyone to use it wisely and for good reasons, pointing out that as much as the internet provides an avenue for learning, its abuse can also stand as a hindrance to learning.

    A Principal of one of the schools in the District, Mrs. Olamide Adewale, solicited the cooperation of parents in monitoring their children alongside the school authority, noting that such collaboration helps instil morals in students.

    She expressed hope that with the level of the teachers’ preparedness to impart knowledge, the new academic session would be better than the previous ones in terms of performance.

    R.d of oil =R1 = 0.72

    R.d of water = R2=1.00

    R.d of liquid= R1/R2= 0.72/1 = 0.72

    R.d = density of wood(P1)/density of water(P2)
    0.72=P1/1.00

    P1= 0.72*1.00=0.72g/cm³
    But density of wood= mass of wood/volume of wood

    0.72= mass of wood/8*8*8
    Mass of wood = 0.72*512 = 368.64g
