Monday, 18-year-old Brisbane high school graduate Amelia Wolsman posted a snarky TikTok of items that’make sense’ in her privately-owned Hilton flat.

Surfers Paradise, the epicenter of the Gold Coast, is the most popular destination for high school graduates to celebrate the end of the school year, with thousands of adolescents travelling to the Queensland party mecca towards the end of November.

Ms. Wolsman’s quick video revealed that the bathroom of the room is coated with black mold and that one of the walls has a hole.

The film contained a variety of problematic photos taken by the youngsters, including a dirty sink full of food, the group storing a bowl of pickle juice, and one of the lads sleeping in the apartment’s included cot.

Ms. Wolsman captioned the video, “Hilton’s filthiest room.”

Ms. Wolsman’s room is in a privately-owned apartment-filled Hilton residential tower adjacent to the Hilton Surfers Paradise hotel.

Guests staying at Hilton Residences have access to the hotel’s amenities, but the rooms and their cleanliness are handled independently.

Another kid took to TikTok on Saturday to criticize the Surfers Paradise hotel and the lengthy wait times for the elevators caused by the flood of tourists.

The clip depicted disgruntled relatives scattered amid the throng of youngsters waiting to access their rooms.

Several users advised that hotel guests utilize the hotel’s fire escape rather than wait, while others had similar experiences.

One user stated, “Had to climb down 41 flights of stairs half the time at Schoolies, was not waiting for the elevator.”

Another advised, “Just wait till you leave on Saturday; when I went, it took us over an hour to catch a ride.”

Guests have lately complained that their rooms are too ‘loud’ and ‘damaged’, causing the Hilton Surfers Paradise’s Google rating to drop.

The noise from the nightclubs playing in my room till 3 a.m. makes sleeping quite difficult. This establishment is solely recommended for clubgoers, stated one critic.

Unfortunately, the furniture needs to be replaced, stated another.

There are crimson stains on the blankets and fitted sheets, and the carpet is stained and shredded everywhere. It smells like though you just entered a man’s gym bag.

A third traveler commented, “We stayed in an executive room, and the cleanliness was subpar.”

“Thick fluff and dust beneath the bed, candies and sweets from the last visitor under the bed, and the bathroom has a continual unpleasant odor.

You are in the thick of club country. On the same street are many nightclubs. On weekend evenings, some senior guests can feel anxious.

Queensland Police estimate that about 25,000 graduates have travelled to the party capital of Queensland for Schoolies (pictured, revellers on Saturday night)Ms Wolsman (above) shared the video of the room on Monday after Schoolies celebrations kicked-off on Saturday

On Saturday (above), schoolies celebrations began with hundreds of teenagers attending commencement ceremonies.

Many customers praised the hotel’s “excellent” service and convenient location, despite the numerous one-star ratings.

Acting Chief Superintendent Rhys Wildman remarked, “Do not leap from one balcony to another in our apartment complexes.”

“We cannot emphasize enough to our school-leavers the danger this practice poses to yourself and others.”

It can result in an arrest, a $2,875 fine, and a year in jail.

The police estimate that over 25,000 school-leavers are at Surfers Paradise, but only 17,000 official Schoolies wristbands have been provided.

On the first weekend of Schoolies, police detained 67 individuals, 49 of whom were non-school-leavers (shown, a Saturday arrest).

During the first two days of the event, officers detained 67 individuals, although only 18 were graduates; the rest were “toolies” (non school-leavers).

Mr. Wildman stated that school-leavers are behaving similarly to or better than in past Schoolies years.

We have not observed non-school-leavers exhibiting or replicating this behavior.

If you choose to misbehave at this time, you are making a terrible decision; there are cops everywhere.
