Dr. Teo and his fiancée Traci Griffiths spent Wednesday afternoon sailing around the famed port in what was believed to be a charity event sponsored by 2GB radio personality Ben Fordham for the surgeon’s Charlie Teo Foundation.
Dr. Teo’s former patients and the relatives of those he was unable to save were also present.
Ms. Griffiths, a former model, animal lover, and pet clothing designer, donned a teal silk dress with gold heels.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet donated a stunning $25,000 from government funds to make the Fordham event a success for the doctor.

The beleaguered brain surgeon sailed across Sydney Harbour on Wednesday with his fiancée Traci Griffiths for a charity event reportedly sponsored by 2GB radio DJ Ben Fordham.
On Wednesday, a neurosurgeon was observed boarding a luxurious boat in Sydney.
He was spotted with Ms. Griffiths, who is also a former patient of the physician; the two first met in 2011.
The duo was observed holding hands before boarding the luxurious boat in Pyrmont, Sydney’s central business district.
In 2011, Griffiths was introduced to Dr. Teo, who apparently performed two operations on him.

After Dr. Teo broke his 30-year marriage and divorced his wife Genevieve Agnew in 2018, the couple “became closer.”
On Wednesday night, Fordham held a fundraiser for the Charlie Teo Foundation, which finances brain cancer research, and the NSW Premier presented the surgeon with an unexpected contribution.
“It was gifted by Mr. Perrottet on behalf of the people of New South Wales,” Fordham stated on Thursday’s edition of his breakfast radio show, confessing that the occasion had moved him to tears.

On Wednesday night, Fordham University sponsored a dinner for the Charlie Teo Foundation, where the surgeon received an unexpected contribution from the Premier of New South Wales.
Dr. Teo received a contribution of $25,000 for the Charlie Teo Foundation.

Critics of Dr. Teo have consistently criticized the surgeon’s attitude to patients with incurable tumors.
In October, the 64-year-old was questioned by A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw on allegations that he charged exorbitant fees for ultimately ineffective procedures.
Due to limitations imposed by the Medical Council of NSW, the renowned brain surgeon has been unable to operate in Australia without the written consent of a colleague physician for the past 15 months.

Dr. Teo operated on Bella Howard, age seven, of Shoal Bay, New South Wales, after her parents urgently attempted to preserve her life after a malignant tumor was discovered on her brain stem.
After the family paid Dr. Teo $100,000 in April 2020 for surgery, she was left with left-sided paralysis and died seven months later when the tumor reappeared.
Wednesday Dr. Teo enjoyed a day at the harbour.
Doctors on 60 Minutes questioned the neurosurgeon’s choice to operate on Bella, but he believed there was a’real possibility’ he might save her life.
He stated that he had tried his utmost to assist her, but conceded that it was a’very tragic’ conclusion to her life.
In a subsequent interview with The Daily Telegraph, Dr. Teo acknowledged that he was ‘human’ and had made errors in his career, but he refuted claims that he was money-hungry by citing his four months of pro bono work a year in impoverished nations.

“I have never disputed that I make errors, but I strongly refute the claim that negative consequences have no impact on me. That is a complete insult, and it’s wrong.
I do not know a single physician who is not directly impacted by problems. Every doctor has issues, but I categorically disagree that I trivialize them and that they have no emotional impact on me.
If I didn’t feel awful when anything goes wrong, I shouldn’t be in the game.
