Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have no intention of returning to Washington, D.C. or politics because they do not want to meet the same fate as Ned Stark from Game of Thrones.
When asked about their intentions to return to politics if Donald Trump is re-elected president in 2024, the former White House power couple reportedly compares themselves to the Starks.
Ned Stark was famously beheaded after being enticed by his close friend King Robert Baratheon into the political viper pit of Westeros’ capital.
According to Vanity Fair, Jared and Ivanka have decided that they enjoy their luxurious lifestyle in Miami too much to rejoin Trump on the campaign road.
The report comes just two days after Trump announced his intention to run for president in 2024, which was quickly followed by Ivanka’s announcement that she would not be participating in the campaign.
Ivanka was spotted for the first time since missing her father’s announcement on Thursday, strolling along a sandy Florida path in white pants and a black shirt.
Tuesday evening at Mar-a-Lago, when Trump declared his 2024 campaign, Ivanka was curiously absent.
Soon thereafter, she issued a statement expressing her support for her father but proclaiming that she would not be participating in his politics.
“I adore my father a great deal. This time around, I will prioritize my young children and the family life we are constructing,’ she stated.
I do not intend to participate in politics. While I will always love and support my father, I will do so outside of the political arena in the future.
After leaving the White House, Jared and Ivanka relocated to Florida and quickly began establishing new roots.
They purchased an 8,500-square-foot, 1.3-acre mansion for $24 million in 2021 with the intent of moving in shortly.
In the interim, they have been residing in a three-story apartment in one of the most expensive buildings in their neighborhood. The building features a rooftop tennis court, and the couple has a private pool and yard.
According to Vanity Fair, they are now such regulars at upscale restaurants such as Carbone that customers barely turn their heads when they enter.

Since leaving Washington, DC, the couple has been spotted basking in the sun.
Pictures of them playing on the beach with their children have become staples in the tabloids, and Ivanka has posted images of herself wakeboarding, fishing with their children, and traveling the globe.
Ivanka has also been photographed with an assortment of celebrity friends, including a few weeks ago when she was spotted hanging out with Kim Kardashian.
Jared has also been doing well. He wrote and published Breaking History, a memoir that enjoyed a run at the top of The New York Times Best Seller List despite negative reviews from the paper’s critics.
His new private equity firm, Affinity Partners, is also thriving, backed by at least $3 billion from Saudi investors. According to Vanity Fair, the company received at least 400 pitches in its first year and has a magnificent office overlooking the ocean.
