Jen Shah’s sentence has been delayed until after the holidays

The happiest of Shah-lidays to you!

Page Six has received court paperwork indicating that Jen Shah’s sentencing date has been postponed again in her federal fraud case.

Shah’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, submitted the plea on Wednesday, and Judge Sidney H. Stein granted it shortly thereafter.

The 49-year-old “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” actress will now face her destiny on January 6, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Chaudhry did not react quickly to Page Six’s request for comment.

U.S. attorney Damian Williams sought the postponement due to a “scheduling conflict on the part of multiple members of the Government team.” The original date for the Bravolebrity was set on November 18, but it was pushed to December 15 owing to a scheduling difficulty.

The sentence of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star was delayed by over a month.

In July, days before she was scheduled to stand trial for allegedly orchestrating a statewide telemarketing operation, Shah startled admirers by changing her plea to guilty. She was initially detained in front of Bravo cameras in March 2021.

During her guilty plea, she accepted responsibility for one count of wire fraud conspiracy in relation to telemarketing.

When asked by Judge Stein what offenses she had done, Shah confessed to “wire fraud, giving services of little value.”

“We utilized interstate telephones and electronic mail. I was aware that many of the buyers were over the age of 55. I’m very sorry,” she continued.

Her plea agreement asks for 11 to 14 years in prison and up to $9.5 million in reparations, although Judge Stein can go above or below the suggested terms.

Before entering a plea of guilty, Shah fiercely denied any wrongdoing.

Page Six said that Shah’s legal troubles were recorded for Season 3 prior to her plea in July.

However, it is unknown if her punishment would be a Season 4 plotline, as Andy Cohen has hinted that she will not return for a fourth season.

The arrest of Shah was shown in Season 2 of the popular Bravo program.

Cohen, 54, stated during BravoCon 2022, “Once we completed [Season 3] and she pled guilty, I believe that was the end of, you know, the engagement there.”

But I hope to get down with her and interview her on video at some time, since I have many questions for her.
