As a result of Kanye West’s anti-Semitic remarks, Adidas and Balenciaga cut their affiliations with him, and now it appears that Kim Kardashian, age 42, is doing the same in an outfit from their newest collaboration.
Monday, the reality star posted a photo of herself wearing an outfit from the line on Instagram, much to the disgust of her followers.
“Hey,” she captioned the mirror selfie in her closet, in which she wears a silver turtleneck with the brand’s iconic stripes down the arms and the emblem on the chest ($1,350) and black and white shorts, both from the Balenciaga x Adidas collaboration. She accessorized with $3,490 black thigh-high Balenciaga boots.
“Adidas? “Really?” said one commentator. “She has been courteous for a very long time. “If this is her insult, let her have it,” said a fan.
Another commenter commented, “The shade is incredible,” to which a fan responded, “here for it.” Another Kardashian follower referred to her as a “petty queen,” while another cited West adversary Taylor Swift as saying, “Recently, you’ve been dressed for retribution.”
While the majority of followers supported the subtle jab, others disliked the athletic appearance.
“Fashion has left the conversation,” said one critic. “I had no idea Adidas manufactured rubbish bags,” said a second individual.
Kardashian has sported a handful of the new designs while out and about in the past few weeks, and she wears Balenciaga designs almost exclusively after appearing in the company’s advertising campaigns.

In October, Balenciaga said it was severing relations with Kanye West, putting an end to the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collaboration. Adidas imitated Nike.
The split occurred after ‘Ye distributed “White Lives Matter” T-shirts after his Paris Yeezy fashion show and made anti-Semitic remarks in person and online.
