  • Just Stop Oil zealot from Prague travels 800 kilometers to London to be sentenced for M25 disruption

An eco-extremist from the Czech Republic who caused disruption on the M25 by jumping onto a gantry as part of a Just Stop Oil demonstration avoided jail time.

The eco-zealot from the Czech Republic walked free of court after being handed a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years for closing the M25 for a second time in a year after a protest with Insulate Britain in 2021. He is pictured outside Westminster Magistrates' Court

On November 7, the geologist Arne Springorum admitted to causing a public disturbance by assisting to close the busiest motorway in Britain near junction 13 in Godstone, Surrey.

The 50-year-old Quaker, who does not reside in the United Kingdom, was a member of an army of climate change campaigners that caused chaos in London.

Thursday, following a 24-hour, 800-mile bus ride from Prague to London, Springorum attended a 15-minute sentencing hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

Following a demonstration with Insulate Britain a year prior, the activist shut down the M25 for a second time last month.

The eco-extremist from the Czech Republic went free from court after receiving a suspended six-month prison sentence for blocking the M25 for a second time in a year in 2021 as part of a protest organized by Insulate Britain. He was photographed in front of Westminster Magistrates’ Court

Geologist Arne Springorum assisted with the closure of the M25 near junction 13, Godstone, Surrey on November 7 after climbing the gantry above the motorway.

The protestor, however, was permitted to leave the courtroom after receiving a suspended sentence from the magistrates. Last month, he had previously pled guilty during an earlier hearing.

Prosecutor Jonathan Bryan stated, “This event occurred around half past seven in the morning.”Geologist Arne Springorum helped shut the M25 near junction 13, Godstone, Surrey on November 7 after scaling the gantry above the highway, pictured

“In this case, police said that at 7:30 a.m. they got reports of protestors climbing gantries, specifically one near junction 13.

At the time, the highway was severely congested. This defendant was the protester who was fastened to the gantry when the office went to meet him. He carried a flag that read, “Just Stop Oil.”

The court heard that Springorum risked distracting cars during the demonstration and that objects could have fallen from the gantry onto the roadway below.

The adjoining exit ramp and all but two lanes of the interstate were closed for more than two hours by the police.

Mr. Bryan stated, “Two hours later, at 10.30 a.m., there was an arrest and a protest removal team was called in to remove him from the gantry.”

I believe it’s accurate to state that the M25 is the busiest highway in the country, and that junction 13 is one of its busiest intersections, therefore the incident caused significant inconvenience and risk for vehicles. The action caused chaos on the motorway during rush hour as thousands of commuters attempted to drive to work (pictured)

The punishment of the father of four, who possesses both German and Czech citizenship, was suspended for two years.

In November, a Just Stop Oil activist was photographed occupying a gantry over the M25 in Godstone, Surrey, while traffic was held up.

After protesters from Just Stop Oil scaled a gantry on the M25, specially trained police officers had to use ropes to bring them down.

District Judge Joanna Evans told Springorum, ‘I have no doubt that you feel strongly about this issue.’

“Climate change is an urgent issue that the entire world must address, but you don’t need to deliver a 15-minute speech on the subject.”

Springorum stated, “I don’t understand the system, there are people going to jail,” when he was forced to leave the dock. This is an extremely important matter, and I will respect the court’s decision, but I disagree with how it is being handled.’Insulate Britain protesters outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London earlier this year. Springorum is pictured far left

After pumping his fist and posing for photographs outside the court, Springorum stated, ‘I took all efforts to prevent unnecessary harm to drivers and passengers on the M25.

“We had professional climbing training, notified the media and police in advance, and encouraged the public to avoid the M25, calculate extra time, and limit their speed; everything was secured with ropes.” There was nothing on my person that could have slipped off.

“I continuously requested the cops not to climb up to me without climbing equipment, to stop the other two open roads.

“My conduct was not irresponsible; rather, it was calculated, premeditated, and part of a well planned operation to cause maximum disruption on the M25 while maintaining maximum safety for all parties involved.”

Springorum stated that he feels’sympathy and regret’ for those he inconvenienced.Springorum pictured outside London's High Court in February after being told he was not in contempt of court following a protest near the M25 in November 2021

However, this is not the first time the Czech climate activist has appeared in court.

Earlier this year, Insulate Britain protesters gathered outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

Springorum was spotted in front of London’s High Court in February after he was ruled he was not in contempt of court for a November 2021 demonstration along the M25.

He was dragged before the High Court in February after he participated in an Insulate Britain demonstration on the M25, nearly precisely a year after he climbed the motorway gantry for Just Stop Oil.

A judge concluded that he and three other eco-terrorists did not violate an injunction on November 2, 2021, at a demonstration at the South Mimms roundabout near the M25.

After Springorum, Liam Norton, 37, and Jessica Causby, 25, participated in a protest beside the road, National Highways launched contempt of court charges against them.

During their protest activity, Mr. Springorum and Ms. Causby allegedly attached themselves to the sidewalk, while Mr. Norton allegedly “threatened traffic flow.”

The purpose of the protest was to obstruct the M25 near Junction 23 at Bignells Corner in Potters Bar, but Lord Justice William Davis ruled that the M25 injunction did not apply to that region.

He stated, “Their applications have been denied, thus there is no further mention of them in these proceedings.” The court informed the demonstrators that they were free to leave.

  • Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly goes holiday shopping with her three children:

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly may have waited until the last minute to do their Christmas shopping.

On Wednesday afternoon, the engaged couple was seen in Malibu with the actress’ mother, Gloria Darlene, and the three children Fox shares with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green.

The musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, was spotted carrying numerous shopping bags, followed by Noah, 10, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 6.

The 32-year-old Grammy candidate cut a striking figure in a Dolce & Gabbana puffer jacket paired with a white t-shirt, white loose pants, and matching combat boots.

Several chains around his neck and a backwards cap rounded off his attire.

Fox, on the other hand, dazzled in an oversized black puffer, dark thin jeans, a matching turtleneck, and tall black boots.

The 36-year-old “Jennifer’s Body” actress topped off her ensemble with a grey, fuzzy bucket hat, similar to the pink feathered hat

Meanwhile, the “New Girl” alum’s three youngsters donned bright T-shirts, trousers, and sneakers to embrace the California winter weather.

Fox, 49, and Green, 49, have been co-parenting their children since their divorce in 2020, alternating who spends the holidays with their children.

In a November interview, the “BH90210” alum stated, “We’re open to change.” “Both she and I are very aware that our schedules are ridiculous. Therefore, when we do have time, we should value it. It’s a wonderful thing, and we encourage the other parent to have time.”

Green continued by stating that he is fine with his ex-wife potentially having another child with her January-proposing boyfriend.

Their three children are “crazy” with Zane, the actor’s 5-month-old baby with girlfriend Sharna Burgess, the actor added, describing the situation as “wonderful.”

Green continued, “It would be the same for them with [Megan’s future child].” “Leaving and coming to her place is difficult for them because they miss Zane so much. “There’s something amazing about being able to visit her home and have the same experience.”

The actor, who began dating Burgess, 37, in October 2020, has a 20-year-old kid with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.

  • After waking up, a ‘rapist’ who had been sleeping for a YEAR on the day he was apprehended is sent straight to jail

On the day of his arrest, an alleged child molester fell asleep for an entire year due to a peculiar medical ailment. He awoke in a hospital and was promptly placed in jail.

The attacker was wheeled in on a gurney to a video conference room at the Regina Coeli prison (pictured, file image) in Rome for every stage of his criminal proceedings
In July 2021, 28-year-old Ahmad Ali was apprehended at the Fiumicino airport near Rome, Italy, for the sexual assault of a minor.

The only time he talked after his arrest was to assert his innocence, but he quickly stopped eating and drinking, went asleep, did not react to noises or movements, and was fed through a drip.

The assailant was transported on a gurney to a video conference room at the Regina Coeli prison in Rome for every phase of his criminal proceedings, but he never awoke or responded to any questions.

Every stage of the attacker’s criminal proceedings were conducted in a video conference room at the Regina Coeli jail

Ali, a native of Pakistan, was allowed to appear in court despite his apparent unconsciousness because the judges felt he was lying, even as he was being transported between prison and hospital.Ahmad Ali, 28, was arrested at Fiumicino airport near Rome (pictured), Italy, in July 2021 after the sex attack on a minor

Medical experts testified twice in court that the defendant was experiencing “simulation due to Ganser syndrome,” a rare and poorly understood condition sometimes known as “nonsense syndrome.”

However, he never awoke throughout his repeated court appearances and remained hospitalized despite the continued criminal processes.

Ali awoke on the 9th of December in the hospital after a year of slumber and was immediately sent to prison.

His attorney Donato Vertone stated to Repubblica, “Ahmed awoke, and it seems like a miracle to me.”

In July 2021, 28-year-old Ahmad Ali was arrested at Fiumicino airport near Rome (pictured) for sexually assaulting a juvenile.

“Credit to the doctors Cardarelli in Naples. Don’t ask me how they did it; all I know is that yesterday he was talking and walking, while twenty days ago, based on his state, I felt he was going to die.

Ali claims he remembers little from his year-long slumber, recalling only his arrest at Fiumicino airport and brief hospitalization at the Pertini hospital in Rome before awakening in Naples with needles in his arm and crotch.

Ganser syndrome, commonly known as ‘prison psychosis’ since it typically affects inmates, is a problematic condition whose veracity has been questioned by the medical world.

Sufferers tend to imitate physical or mental ailments even when they are not ill, when doing so may be advantageous, yet they can have genuine symptoms.

Common symptoms include hallucinations, confusion, forgetfulness, and paralysis. This illness is a response to intense stress.

Ali’s story was brought to the attention of the neuroscientists at University College London by the Italian justice organization Antigone.

Susanna Marietti, the group’s national coordinator, stated, “I met young Ahmed on June 1 of last year in the clinical center of Regina Coeli jail. He was unconscious and had been in this position for several months.”

‘I knelt over his face and screamed at him, but he did not move a muscle; he was in a deep sleep.

“When I spoke with the cellmate, he stated that he had never awakened or moved, not during the day nor at night.”

Ali awoke shortly after UCL that a psychologist, psychiatrist, and physiotherapist collaborate on his motor rehabilitation.

Attorney Vertone stated, “I am certain they will continue to examine his case.”

Now I’m attempting to reconnect him with his family in Pakistan, as he hasn’t heard from them in over a year.

With any luck, Ali will be able to address the court for the first time at the January hearing, where the next hearing will be conducted.

  • Accused NYC gas station shooter arrested in Philly case: cops

A man accused of randomly shooting a gas station employee in the Bronx last month was apprehended in Philadelphia, where he allegedly opened fire on a parking cop, according to officials.

US Marshals arrested Termaine Saulsbury, 39, on W. Girard Avenue in Philadelphia, where he was hiding, on Wednesday, according to police.

Authorities said Saulsbury is a suspect in the Nov. 22 shooting of a 49-year-old, longtime employee at the Sunoco on Boston Road near Astor Avenue in Allerton at 7 p.m.

The subsequent release of chilling footage of the shooting showed a man casually approaching the barred station entrance.

The tape reveals that the gunman appears to indicate that there is a problem with the pumps before firing twice at the worker without speaking.

The injured employee was sent to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

According to the reports, the victim had worked at the gas station for more than 15 years and did not appear to have had any prior issues with coworkers.

According to the police, the Sunoco shooter began fire without speaking.

Three days after the Bronx incident, Saulsbury is suspected of shooting Philadelphia Parking Authority officer Timothy McKenzie while he was on duty, according to authorities.

In another encounter, which was also captured on film, Saulsbury allegedly approached McKenzie from behind on Frankford Avenue while armed with a silver revolver and fired a single shot, striking the officer in the head.

Local reports indicate that the cop has been discharged from the hospital, although his recovery is ongoing.

Based on a “ongoing investigation,” the NYPD stated in a statement released earlier this month that “it is believed that there is a connection” between the two crimes.

“This judgment was made based on the similarities between the physical attributes and clothing of the suspect and the circumstances surrounding both shootings,” the department stated.

The suspect is depicted in side-by-side images from both instances wearing a blue hooded jacket, a dark-colored ski mask, gray leggings, black boots, and black gloves.

Captain John Walker of the Philadelphia Police Department previously told reporters, “At this time, both actions appear to be random, there was no apparent pattern or motive.”

Rich Lazer, executive director of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, complimented law enforcement agencies for their “outstanding investigative work” in swiftly apprehending a suspect.

In a statement received by WPVI-TV, Lazer stated, “As challenging as the job is for our law enforcement officers, their safety is our primary priority.”

“Knowing that a suspect is currently in police custody is a source of relief for our entire team and our families. While our PEO Tim McKenzie continues to recuperate and progress, the time has come to allow justice to run its course.

  • Emily Ratajkowski downloads a dating app in the midst of her relationship with Pete Davidson and says, “F–k it.”

Emily Ratajkowski maintains a flexible stance!

In the midst of her relationship with Pete Davidson, the “High Low” podcast presenter joined a dating app for the first time and shared her experience on Thursday’s episode.

While creating her account, the model held a glass of wine.

The 31-year-old woman stated to her audience, “I was like, ‘F–k it!’” “I felt defiant because so many people advised me not to purchase it.”

While she did not identify which app she is using, the actress revealed that she has received “a couple direct inquiries from women, which is thrilling.”

Ratajowski added, “I feel as though this application is a touch too white. It is very white and evokes a specific type of man and woman, therefore I don’t believe I’ll meet my lady crush here.

Since November, the “Gone Girl” star has been romantically linked to Davidson, 29. Later that month, they made headlines for their first public appearance at a New York Knicks against Memphis Grizzlies game.

A source exclusively told Page Six last week that the couple is becoming “more serious.”

After filing for divorce in September, the author of “My Body” uploaded a TikTok video of herself seated on a green couch in which she appears to come out as bisexual.

“If you identify as bisexual, do you own a green velvet couch?” the video’s narration inquired as Ratajkowski panned over the couch and then back to herself with a grin.

On many occasions, Davidson has been sighted with co-star Chase Sui Wonders.

In the same month, the former “iCarly” star told Harper’s Bazaar that she “doesn’t believe in straight people” and that “sexuality is on a sliding scale.”

    He last dated Kim Kardashian.

In her October interview, Ratajkowski also discussed her plans for dating apps.

The “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit” model intimated to the publication, “Give me time.”

  • Making the Cut: Emily in Paris Season 3 Episode 5 Recap

Emily has a new beginning in this episode, returning to her former position at Sylvie’s new agency, but she must still prove herself. However, if we know anything about Emily, it is that the universe appears to be slanted in her favor, so how difficult would anything be?

Emily’s first day back at work she finds Sylvie, Julien, and Luc posing for a photoshoot she has not been invited to (wait, is that a bikini top under her blazer?). Emily, desirous of gaining Sylvie’s favor, decides to do her hardest to get her employer on La Liste after she mentions the prestigious press award, which recognizes some of Paris’ most accomplished individuals. My impression is that this is a French version of Forbes 30 Under 30, with an emphasis on leisure.

The show doesn’t care to elaborate further, and I don’t have much time to ponder because Nicolas fills the Hot Chef hole we’ve been experiencing all season. Emily and Alfie discover him outside a restaurant, and Mindy remembers him (surprise!) from their boarding school days in Switzerland, where they were in different grades.

Nicolas reminds us that Mindy was probably a drug dealer throughout her high school years (sorry, but Mindy wears way too many sequins and pearls to make me think she actually sold weed out of her dorm). While disclosing her allegedly scandalous background, it is evident that he has a tremendous crush on her. Unfortunately, she’s already taken. Emily is also aware of this, and when she interrupts to invite Nicholas to a party Alfie is hosting over the weekend, she prevents the two from naked each other in public view.

After this brief intermission, we return to La Liste, which I absolutely recognize and comprehend, and Emily’s objective, which was easily attained because to her Instagram connections. She is able to arrange a lunch with Janine DuBois of La Liste, whom she invites to Gabriel’s restaurant. I’m all for supporting your friends, but it appears that Emily only knows this restaurant in Paris, a city famed for its cuisine.

Janine, however, is unaware that Emily is almost a VIP customer there, so she accepts the invitation, which also includes Sylvie, who is vying for a seat on La Liste. Emily is startled to learn that Janine is Australian, and even uses the word “naur” Sylvie is also astonished and oddly irritated to discover that Janine isn’t French, and it’s evident that Emily (and Gabriel, who serves a fine asparagus amuse-bouche) has the strongest chemistry with her.

After lunch, Emily departs her boyfriend to go talk business at Alfie’s party, which is filled with attendees, including Nicolas. However, she is soon shut down by the JVMA heir, who is obviously only there for Mindy. He leaves Emily as soon as he identifies her, but she is not alone for long. The Greek artist Sofia is also at the gathering, and she immediately inquires about Camille, who has not yet come.

Meanwhile, Mindy is deep in conversation with Nicolas while wearing a garish turquoise sequin ensemble, but he is unfazed. In fact, he appears flirtier than ever when she complains about him “busking the subway”… Please, Mindy, this was a decision! Benoit is lurking in the corner like a stalker, and he interrupts an embrace between Mindy and Nicolas by forcibly kissing Mindy. Ew.

After an unpleasant talk between the three of them, Nicolas takes the message and leaves, but not before asking Emily and Mindy to a JVMA event for his company’s promotion of Soleil De Paris sunscreen the following day.

Camille, who has now arrived to the party, is on the roof of Alfie’s apartment with Sofia, observing Paris below. As the two take in the lovely tableau unfolding in front of them, Sofia extols the “wonderful” individuals that Paris has to offer. And without surprising anyone, she moves in for a kiss, which Camille returns. What does Gabriel think of this? Emily cares, but Camille does not.

When she is kissing her own partner downstairs, she is in the mood for her own roof rendezvous. However, as she and Alfie approach the staircase, she is surprised to witness Camille kissing Sofia and quickly slams the door shut. She informs Mindy the following day at the JVMA pool party that Camille is “having an affair and Gabriel has no idea,” but Mindy warns her to quit interfering in other people’s affairs.

“You witnessed two females kissing at a party – you need to get out more,” she advises Emily, before changing the subject to Nicolas, who is not doing a very good job of avoiding his not-single crush Mindy.

Emily, who is constantly in business mode, convinces Nicolas to use the song Benoit penned for Mindy as part of the Soleil De Paris promotion when she plays the track on the DJ’s speakers using Mindy’s phone. People at the party mysteriously start dancing (you know, the kind of thing that only happens in commercials), and Nicolas exclaims, “I’m awestruck!” while sounding very bored.

Benoit is a real buzzkill, telling Mindy it was their particular song and he doesn’t want it in a “stupid sunscreen commercial.” Mindy is ecstatic at the possibility to give her lover a career boost, and she is eager to share the news with Benoit over drinks that night. Oh, boo-hoo, Benoit. You could make so much money from this if you would only temporarily set aside your pride.

The next day, during a phone chat with Nicolas, Emily changes her mind, telling him the song isn’t going to work, and he’s cool with it, assuring her he’s still interested in working with her on the Soleil De Paris campaign after she landed on La Liste. Yes, Emily is on the coveted list, and she is also featured on the cover of the magazine that features the list. This is wonderful news, correct? Wrong. Emily is now anxious because Sylvie wanted to be the one to market her new firm, but she didn’t even make the cut.

Sylvie’s boyfriend, Erik, conveys the news to her in bed that morning, and she is so enraged that she storms out and lashes out at Emily at a meeting in her office. Emily attempts to smooth things up as Sylvie informs her that she was supposed to be advertising the agency, not herself or the handsome chef, by mentioning JVMA’s offer to work on Soleil De Paris. Sylvie is grudgingly pleased, muttering “nice work.”

Emily is enjoying being ranked first on La Liste that evening with Gabriel and Alfie, who are shortly joined by Camille, who enters with Sofia. The artist says to Gabriel in jest, “Thanks for lending me your girlfriend this week.” This causes Emily to raise her eyebrows, and I share her reaction.

Mindy is unable to prepare celebratory beverages because she is prepared to perform with Benoit, but when Nicolas sends flowers, the atmosphere backstage quickly becomes hostile. Benoit, who is receiving his big break tonight by joining Mindy at the club, is plainly annoyed by the present. He is insecure, talking about how different his life is from hers (apparently he never had a girlfriend at boarding school in Switzerland), but she stands up to him and says, “I am so tired of apologizing for who I am.”

Benoit requests to see the message that accompanied Mindy’s flowers, but she refuses, prompting him to leave the dressing room. When he leaves, we discover that Mindy was invited to supper. Mindy is receiving more screen time in this episode, but I wish it wasn’t due of her boyfriend’s jealousy.

Although Benoit was kicked out of the dressing room, he still appears onstage, where he and Mindy perform the A Star Is Born duet “Shallow.” Even Ashley Park is unable to redeem Mindy and Benoit’s weird performance as they sing over footage of Emily, Alfie, and Gabriel having drinks with Camille and Sofia, who is fondling Camille’s leg with her foot under the table. Please! Stop!

As Mindy and Benoit almost groan the notes out onstage while frowning at one another, the audience applauds as Mindy rises to bow but turns to see that Benoit has fled the stage. Sincerely, I’m not angry. I assume this is all a setup for a relationship between Mindy and Nicolas, and I’m fine for it.
