  • Will There Be a Season 4 of ‘Emily in Paris’? Lily Collins, Lucien Laviscount, and Other Stars Predict the Plot

Season 3 of Emily in Paris left viewers with many unanswered mysteries and nicely set up future episodes. Will Lily Collins and the ensemble return to Paris to complete their story?

Since its 2020 premiere, Darren Star’s Netflix series has been an indisputable success thanks to both true fans and haters. And Season 3, which debuted on December 21 with all ten episodes, proved that the program can still deliver fascinating doses of drama, romance, conflict, and pure FUN.

Fans can’t help but wonder if there will be a Season 4 of Emily in Paris on Netflix, after the Season 3 finale concluded with several surprising cliffhangers. And what might Season 4 of Emily in Paris look like? Below are the answers, as well as narrative predictions from Lily Collins, Lucien Laviscount, and other cast members; nevertheless, Emily in Paris Season 3 spoilers are ahead.

Will Netflix Release Season 4 of Emily in Paris?

Yes! A month following the release of Season 2, in January 2020, Netflix announced the renewal of the show for Seasons 3 and 4. That means more episodes of Emily in Paris are forthcoming!

Lily Collins also announced the news through Instagram, saying, “VERY exciting news… @emilyinparis is returning for Season 3… AND stay tuned for Season Four!!!! I cannot tell if Emily would like or dislike this attire for the announcement, but she would be screaming either way. Sincerely adore you everyone, thank you so much for your great support! Absolutely unable to wait for more. Merci Beaucoup!!…”

Despite the fact that we do not know when Emily in Paris Season 4 will launch, we have a reasonable guess based on previous release dates. The debut of Season 1 occurred in October 2020, Season 2 in December 2021, and Season 3 in December 2022. Thus, it is possible that fresh episodes will premiere in December 2023. In the meantime, we have some idea of what Season 4’s plot may entail, courtesy to the emotional Season 3 ending and statements from the cast.

What Will Season Four of Emily in Paris Be About? The Cast Discusses What to Expect

If Season 4 begins where Season 3 ended, we will witness the fallout of Alfie and Emily’s separation, Camille and Gabriel’s breakup, and Gabriel’s major disclosure to Emily…that Camille is pregnant! Here’s what Lily Collins had to say about Season 4 of Emily in Paris.

“As soon as I believed Emily was on the right road and everything was going well, I read the conclusion and was like, ‘Wait, what?’ Fortunately, we know there will be a Season 4, so we can explore all the cliffhangers now that we know Camille is pregnant, they were engaged, and they were going to wed!” Collins told Decider over Zoom. “It’s a lot to process, and I think you can see it on Emily’s face at the conclusion of the show, where there’s just so much that there ends up being nothing, because it’s such a numbing feeling of ‘I can’t even compute all of this, so I have no idea where it goes from here.’” She had previously fought to retrieve Alfie. Will he desire her return? I’m not sure. There’s so much there to analyze, and I can’t wait to see how the writers and Darren [Star, creator and showrunner] develop it.”

The actor who portrays Alfie, Lucien Laviscount, had some opinions regarding his character’s future with Emily. “It’s a major cliffhanger, but I believe Alfie is true to his word, and I believe he deserves to win and be with someone who loves him. I believe Emily truly loves him, but she is conflicted. And there is much activity… Laviscount stated via Zoom that he does not believe Alfie processes an excessive amount of data. “I believe he needed to leave that place more than anything else. Take time for yourself, buddy!”

In addition to these primary plotlines, we will likely delve deeper into the lives of secondary characters. Sylvie may revisit her past as a result of her husband’s business dealings with a problematic former employer. Ideally, a Eurovision plotline will reunite Mindy and Benoit, putting Mindy’s relationship with Nico in jeopardy. And we’ll hopefully see more of Luc the “star jerk” and his fiancée (who has the ability to drastically alter Gabriel’s life).

In addition, we’ll discover what happens with Julien’s job offer, so actor Samuel Arnold elaborated on what pushed his character to the brink in Season 3. “Julien has viewed Emily as a threat from the outset, as he was the office’s most colorful, sassy, and well-dressed employee, and she arrived with the same characteristics. Therefore, there will always be a little competitiveness between them, but they have become true friends. The fact that she dominates him and virtually casts a shadow over him at work is therefore problematic for him not only professionally, but also in terms of his connection with her. It’s tough, but I like that they forced him to put himself first and stand up for himself.

Although Alfie and Emily may have ended their relationship, Alfie and Antoine continue to work closely together. And it appears that Antoine’s financial irresponsibility could cause problems in Season 4.

William Abadie, who portrays Antoine, told Decider, “I’m excited to see what transpires between the two of them since they’re two big personalities, and whether or not Antoine needs Alfie in a boss-employee relationship.” “His top priority is expanding the business… And for that, he’ll sacrifice a little bit of his ego and hire the greatest people, which could sometimes come at a cost, which could be exciting.”

“Spicy and entertaining” sounds like a reasonable prediction for Season 4, so let’s hope we learn more about Emily in Paris’s future soon.

The third season of Emily in Paris is currently accessible on Netflix.

  • “Running With Wolves” is the title of the third episode in Season 3 of Jack Ryan

The United States and Russia are currently being baited into a war, and we are the only ones standing in their path. The message Jack sends to Elizabeth at the end of “Running With Wolves,” the third episode of Season 3 of Jack Ryan, provides the clearest explanation yet of what the game board’s components represent. The numerous relationships within the already murky world of spycraft, intelligence, and geopolitical intrigue remain opaque. For instance, Elizabeth Wright feels hesitant to totally trust Jack. But when an FBI team arrives in Rome to execute a warrant on her AWOL field officer for violating the Espionage Act – in other words, treason – she finds that the decision-makers above her pay grade have completely left her out of their discussions. Jack is still on the run. However, what he has discovered is not only genuine. It has implications at the highest levels of the world’s power centers. Oh, and a worldwide nuclear catastrophe is also a possibility.

Jack is anticipated to establish touch with Zoya Ivanova in Vienna, Austria. “Your pal is obviously out of practice,” she quips to Mike November, who had been following her. I’ve had him since eight blocks. And Zoya is displeased to see Jack. (“Your cover is not the only one that’s been blown.”) However, she agrees to arrange a meeting between him and her mystery Russian contact, the original source of the Sokol intelligence, who we know to be the veteran of the Russian intelligence service, Luca. Knowing that if he can locate Zoya, so can the CIA, Jack and Mike employ a little of digital deception by hacking the railway station’s security feeds to make it appear that they’re traveling to Semmering, Austria, while they’re actually going to Budapest, Hungary. When you are an international fugitive, sending arrogant FBI officers and your CIA director on a wild goose chase is par for the course.

As the former head of the agency’s Moscow station, Greer and Alena Kovac had a professional relationship. In the Prague president’s office, she greets him pleasantly while Radek (Adam Vacula), her security director who is actually a double agent, looks enraged. Greer explains to Kovac that the dead Russian defense minister was a silent supporter of nuclear disarmament, that Petrov, the new minister and a true hardliner, was likely responsible for the assassination, and that Radek was implicated in the scheme. Kovac had already identified the Petrov link. However, it is Radek’s complicity that shocks her. The president tells Greer that regardless of the game Russia is playing, she will not allow the Czech Republic to remain their playground.

Greer is aware that Alena Kovac is an intelligent politician who will not be pushed. However, she also trusts her father Petr completely, which appears to be an issue. Petr is organizing a party in the wilderness of Bohemia at his hunting lodge, and the first guests to arrive are Zubkov (Ivan Mathias Petersson) and Lychikin (Lenn Kudrjawizki). “The agreed-upon item has been acquired,” says Zubkov, and Lychikin offers him a $20 million bank token as payment. Petr reassures Lychikin that neither Jack Ryan nor the Czech president’s daughter would be an issue, and then he invites a third guest to the lodge. Alexei Petrov is the new defense minister of Russia. It is crucial to their “goal,” according to Petrov, that Kovac grant NATO permission to place weapons in her country. Clearly, Petr’s relationship with his daughter is characterized by both affection and possibility. Nevertheless, he asserts that Alena “is Russian, whether she recognizes it or not.” According to Petr, Russia was once the terror that kept the globe awake at night. And now? “War without cost is without purpose. Without sacrifice, we lack identity.” And the creation of a new Soviet Union is the only identity that these men desire. That is unfortunate for Lychikin. Later, when hunting in the woods, Petr shoots himself in the head. The investor was not a believer. Moreover, there must be no loose ends.

On the train to Budapest, Luca admits to Jack for the first time that he is Zoya’s contact. “We have little time and much to consider if we are to stop Sokol,” he continues. But hold on a second Why would a veteran of the Russian intelligence community seek assistance from the CIA? The older man concurs that being on the same side seems suspicious. In their drive to reestablish the Soviet Union, he continues, Petrov and his government and military partners have already secured the uranium required to construct the Sokol nuclear device. With time running out, he claims he could no longer trust anyone on his own side due to the independent actions of a rogue element inside his administration, and was therefore forced to call the CIA. When you’re a renegade agent like Jack, though, phoning the Company to reveal that your secret intelligence source is actually Russia’s most brutal spymaster isn’t exactly advantageous. “Recall the line I was describing?” Mike tells Jack following their encounter with Luca. “You’ve just gone too far.”

President Kovac is ignorant of her father’s scheme. He appears to hope that her Russian ancestry will persuade her to his faction’s goals. Despite the fact that he has betrayed his daughter’s confidence, he may be underestimating her resilience. With Greer’s proof that the death of the Russian minister was an inside job, Kovac has ordered NATO to station missiles in the Czech Republic. While this is a show of force against Russia’s incursion into Ukraine, it is also just what Petrov and Petr’s cabal desired. It is also a signal that the president does not believe the fabricated allegation of US complicity in the assassination, which will give them a precedent to provoke world conflict. In other words, she is specifying her allies. And with Jack and Mike still in the wind and operating in the shadows, it will not be as easy as these faction plotters believe to bait any country into war.

  • Why Brazil remained No. 1 in the most recent Fifa standings

Thursday, FIFA released the official 2022 world rankings, with Brazil maintaining the top spot despite Argentina being declared world champions.

The South American rivals occupy positions one and two, respectively, with France behind at number three and Belgium falling to position five after a dismal World Cup performance and group stage exit.

Since the release of the latest world rankings, there has been significant misunderstanding as to why quarterfinalists Brazil are ranked higher than tournament champions Argentina.

First in the globe and second in the #FIFARanking

Here are the top 10 countries following #Qatar2022.

The FIFA World Cup (@FIFAWorldCup) is scheduled for December 22, 2022

Fifa said in 2021 that it would implement the Elo rating system to determine global rankings. Instead of friendlies, a rating system produces larger points for each side based on competitive games and tournaments recognized by Fifa.

The hitch is that, according to the Elo system, victories inside 90 minutes are worth more points than those requiring extra time and penalties.

In the case of Selecao and La Albiceleste, Lionel Scaloni’s side lost their opening Group A match to Saudi Arabia — a low-ranked team won two of their matches in penalty shootouts their route to World Cup victory, costing them 39 points.

However, the Argentines would have surpassed their competitors if they had won their two penalty shootout games under normal.

Brazil, meanwhile, won three and lost two games in Qatar, with four of them concluding under 90 minutes and the quarterfinal loss to Croatia coming on penalties.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco climbed 11 places to claim position 11 in the world rankings, becoming the highest climbers by 108.85 points and the top climbers by places alongside Australia.

Senegal is the second-highest ranked African team at number 19, losing only one position, followed by Cameroon, which rose to number 33, and South Africa, which remains at number 67.

  • Tom Cruise discloses his “most risky stunt” ever performed

  • Four months after her death, Charlbi Dean’s cause of death is disclosed

Four months after the 32-year-old actress’s untimely passing, the cause of Charlbi Dean’s death has been discovered.

TMZ claimed on Thursday that the New York City medical examiner disclosed that the “Black Lightning” star died of a bacterial infection in August.

The news source added that the bacteria was identified as Capnocytophaga, which commonly affects persons who have had close contact with a dog or cat or have been bitten by one.

The model’s sensitivity to the bacterium was apparently worsened by the removal of her spleen following a 2009 vehicle accident with her then-boyfriend Ashton Schnehage.

During the collision, Dean also suffered a collapsed lung, two vertebral fractures, a broken wrist, four ribs, and an elbow.

The “Spud” star was engaged to Luke Volker at the time of her death, with the 26-year-old model proposing in April.

Dean captioned his Instagram photos with the coordinates 40°44’12.9″N 73°58’49.1″W. “Location of our first kiss and where I proposed to my boyfriend.”

Volker referred to the actress in his own article as “the love of [his] life” and “the girl of [his] dreams.”

Since Dean’s demise, Volker has shared several heartfelt tributes to the late actor.

In September, he exclaimed, “I was the luckiest man in the world to have spent my days with her.” “I hope paradise exists in the sky.”

Dean is well recognized for her recurrent roles in “Black Lightning” and “Spud” flicks.

The October release of “Triangle of Sadness,” starring her and Woody Harrelson, was hailed posthumously.

  • Here’s Why the Current ‘Jeopardy’ Champion Won’t Stop Swinging Even Though Fans Find It “Distracting”

When Ray LaLonde has just won his sixth consecutive game on Jeopardy!, fans can’t help but notice the way he rocks back and forth while appearing on camera, causing the show’s producers to respond.

As a Toronto-based scenic artist, LaLonde’s current winning streak has already earned him a seat in the 2023 Tournament of Champions. However, spectators cannot help but grumble about the contestant’s swaying when answering questions, which could be related to spinal cord damage he suffers from, per TBS News Watch, causing him to use additional effort to prevent muscle spasms in his legs while appearing on the show.

“MAKE HIM STOP MOVING! PLEASE! One admirer tweeted, “HE GIVES ME MOTION SICKNESS,” while another remarked, “OH MY GOD IT IS ABSOLUTELY DRIVING ME NUTS. I was yelling at the television. His voice drives me absolutely wild. He must leave soon, or I cannot continue to watch.”

A third person commented, “He seems like a kind man, but his incessant back-and-forth twirling is making me dizzy,” before a fourth person requested, “Could one of the Jeopardy producers please inform Ray that his twisting is distracting?”

“He needs to stand motionless,” posted a second user. His incessant rocking is quite irritating.

Others were not as disturbed by LaLonde’s peculiarity, so long as he maintained his winning streak.

One individual remarked, “I have also seen his side-to-side movement, but get over it.” “It is Ray’s nature. Enjoy seeing him triumph. Ray, keep it up!”

Someone another stated, “Rock as long as you want, Ray, and keep winning!”

During an interview for the Inside Jeopardy! podcast, producer Sarah Foss defended LaLonde’s behavior while admitting that it presents production challenges. She stated, “Ray has a tendency to roam back and forth during his games, making it challenging for our camera operators. So he might or might not have acquired the nickname “Ray the Sway.”

Foss added, “But Ray, you do whatever it takes to win Jeopardy!”

  • In ‘Ozark,’ Julia Garner gave the best performance of 2022

A truly great performance is difficult to achieve. The television is rife with fascinating characters, imaginary people strengthened by smart writing, excellent costume design, and narrative tricks designed to make us fall in love with them. However, exceptional performances have always demanded more. In order to create a performance that is more than the sum of its brilliant parts, they require their performers to go above and beyond what is written on the paper or on the screen. In the final season of Ozark, no performer demonstrated this excellence better than Julia Garner.

As soon as Ruth Langmore appeared on film, she was a formidable force. What was not to love in a little, deadly young woman who could confidently deliver the statement “I don’t know s*** about fuck”? But as Ozark matured as a television series, so did Garner’s portrayal of Ruth.

Ruth’s underlying concerns were revealed in Season 2 courtesy to Cade Langmore (Trevor Long), the demanding father whose favor she could never attain. The third season provided a silver lining for our feisty money launderer. Ben (Tom Pelphrey) wore down her strong façade, and as Ruth fell in love, we saw a softer side of this obstinate woman. Garner gracefully represented these dramatic character alterations. Ruth was always recognizable, even when she was at her most naive or neurotic. However, it was only because of Ruth’s sadness that Garner was able to offer a performance that was a notch beyond this show’s excellence.

Ruth’s (Charlie Tahan) grief over Wyatt’s (Charlie Tahan) passing was not only believable. It seemed almost divine in the ancient Greek sense of the word. It was an unavoidable statement of mutual annihilation, comparable to the roar heard at the start of an avalanche. Ruth’s muscles shook as she screamed in Marty’s (Jason Bateman) face at the conclusion of “Sanctified,” “If you want to stop me, you’re going to have to f***ing murder me!” This is not only one of the top performances of the year, but also one of the best screamed lines of all time.

Ruth and Garner did not stop there, though. Throughout “The Cousin of Death,” Ruth wallowed, aimlessly wandering the streets of Chicago in a desperate attempt to kill the guy who had murdered her cousin. It was an episode that could easily have been characterized by rage or grief, two emotions that this character and actor are familiar with. Instead, Garner imbued Ruth’s hunt with the considerably more elusive boredom. Ruth was characterized by apathy even as she squeezed the trigger that would terminate Javi’s (Alfonso Herrera) and her own lives. Ruth, who was no longer tied to life in any meaningful manner, could not appear to comprehend why she had to kill Javi. However, she had to do it.

Ruth only becomes herself again in the final moments of Ozark, which is an excellent choice for such a horrific drama. In “A Hard Way to Go,” the Byrdes give up and sell Ruth for the safety of their family. In the episodes before this conclusion, Ruth was a shell of her former self, agreeing half-heartedly to outlandish schemes and prone to spasms of nostalgia. However, as Camila (Verónica Falcón) raised her gun to take one more life, the Ruth we fell in love with reemerged. Her last words? “Well? “Are you going to f***ing do this or what?” Ruth, foul-mouthed as ever, greeted death as an old friend in her final moments. Isn’t that magnificent?

Obviously, Garner’s great performance was never isolated. Ruth would not have felt so dynamic if she had not been in continual contrast to Jason Bateman, Hollywood’s most straight-edge everyman. Similarly, without Laura Linney’s undervalued portrayal of the effortlessly deceptive Wendy, her ludicrous schemes and countless betrayals would have felt much more menacing. At its foundation, Ozark has always been a solid ensemble drama. Still, it was Garner who kept us on the edge of our seats and shouting.

Ruth Langmore became more than simply a television character. She was a living meme and a poster child for the peculiar forms grief can take. She ultimately became a cautionary story, another victim of the whims and errors of the wealthy. It is difficult to distinguish a performance from its show, particularly when the program in question is as consistently excellent and award-winning as this one. In the final season of Ozark, Julia Garner did just that.
