  • UK statement condemning the Taliban’s closure of universities for women in Afghanistan

Below is the complete statement issued by the United Kingdom condemning the Taliban’s recent decision to ban women from attending universities in Afghanistan.

Lord (Tariq) Ahmad of Wimbledon, Minister of State in the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, and Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict, said:

“The UK strongly condemns the Taliban’s decision to close universities for women across Afghanistan. This restriction represents a further violation of the rights and freedoms of Afghan women and girls and has no religious or moral basis. Afghan women and girls must have a say in their own future and be able to fully and equally contribute to society.

“We urge the Taliban to reverse their decisions on education, including the 23 March 2022 decision to prohibit girls’ access to secondary school. Having educated and empowered women in Afghanistan is vital for peace, stability and economic development across the country – without this, the country will not achieve longer-term stability or prosperity. Bans to education will only fuel the continued exodus of educated Afghans, exacerbating the current humanitarian and economic crisis.

“This decision will have damaging consequences for the Taliban by further isolating them from the people of Afghanistan and the international community. We will not support any restoration of waivers to the travel bans on UN-sanctioned Taliban until Afghan women and girls are allowed to attend secondary school and university. Working with likeminded partners, we will consider further action to persuade the Taliban to abandon these regressive measures and reverse their decisions.”

  • Digger driver risks jail for £50,000 drunken rampage in stolen JCB

A driver of an excavator was remanded in custody over the holidays after admitting to hijacking a vintage JCB and crashing it into a house and two cars while intoxicated, then proceeding to McDonald’s for a sandwich.

Mark Holmes, 55, used the vintage JCB to crash into Paula Brown's home in Gwent in November as part of an ongoing family feud
In a family dispute, Mark Holmes, 55, crashed the yellow heavy-duty vehicle into Paula Brown’s modern brick home in the Blackwood neighborhood of Gwent, South Wales.

Neighbors watched in disbelief as the massive digger repeatedly reversed direction before crashing through the home’s porch.

Workers in a nearby van captured footage of Holmes casually holding his phone behind the wheel of the JCB as he carried out the attack.

In November, Mark Holmes, 55, drove a vintage JCB to crash into Paula Brown’s home in Gwent as part of an ongoing family quarrel.

During the rampage, Holmes also attempted to flip Ms. Brown’s Ford Focus onto its roof by colliding with it.At one state a man attempted to remonstrate with Holmes as he continued his rampage

A voice can be heard from the van stating, “Got it all on film for you, mate? Got everything on film. What the f*** is that f***head doing? F***ing joke.’

Someone else says, “Get his registration.”A group of nearby builders filmed the shocking incident which has seen Holmes remanded in custody for sentencing on January 12, 2023

After the destruction, Holmes was observed backtracking before leaving the modern estate and going to a McDonald’s.

Holmes allegedly struck Ms. Brown’s silver Ford Focus and blue Ford Fiesta while driving over the legal blood alcohol limit.

On November 8, Holmes was ultimately apprehended a mile distant after going to a McDonald’s drive-through in Blackwood, Gwent.

As part of a violent family rivalry, the Cardiff Crown Court heard that Holmes also assaulted Ms. Brown during the JCB rampage.

A Ford Fiesta, pictured, as also damaged by Holmes during November's terrifying incident

A group of adjacent construction workers captured the terrible incident that led to Holmes’ stay in custody until his trial on January 12, 2023.

It is estimated that Holmes’s drunken rampage caused approximately £50,000 in damages.

Holmes, of Penybryn, Caerphilly, has pled guilty to aggravated car theft, property damage, reckless driving, and drunk driving.

He rejected the more serious accusation of assault resulting in actual bodily harm, but consented to the lesser charge of battery.

Judge Recorder Mark Cotter KC postponed the sentencing until January 12, 2023 to allow for the preparation of pre-sentence reports.

It is in your best advantage to cooperate with probation, he stated.

In one state, a man attempted to confront Holmes as he resumed his spree.During the rampage, Holmes also smashed into Ms Brown's Ford Focus, pictured, attempting to turn it onto its roof

Holmes was remanded in custody and issued an interim driving disqualification order.

A Turkish excavator operator went on a rampage at a coal mine in September 2021, causing major damage.

In July 2021, a German construction worker in a salary dispute caused approximately £400,000 in damage to an apartment complex with a big Volvo excavator.

In September of 2019, while intoxicated, Darren Verity used his excavator to destroy his employer’s £100,000 Range Rover and an adjacent HGV vehicle. The horrifying incident was filmed by the company’s CCTV system, which was subsequently aired before Bradford Crown Court before Verity was sentenced to 14 months in prison in November 2020.

  • Renovate your home for the better and brighter within your budget – here’s how to go about it!

It would help if you took a chance in your immediate surroundings to stay energized. The same applies to your home. It’s true that homeowners spend several dollars on their home décor scheme and decide on a design theme. It is one of the reasons why most people think they should instead not change the existing home décor and stay with the current template. While this can help you save money for a while, it will make you feel bored with your surroundings. Hence, it is necessary to realize that change is the only constant and that your house also needs to get renovated from time to time. Once you do that, your home will never lose out on its curb appeal.

    • Refrain from waiting endlessly

When is the exact time for a home renovation? There is no correct answer to it. So, go ahead with the renovation when you feel the need for it the most. Most of the time, homeowners think they need to decide on a complete home renovation only when the house is in a messy condition. That is far from true. The initial signs are the paint becoming slightly faded, the bathroom doors getting a little weak in function and the opt-in for a renovation. However, you should still renovate your house almost every year. You can make minor tweaks, as that helps keep your home looking new every year, and you wouldn’t get bored of its décor.

    • Address the kitchen as smartly as possible

Your home renovation is not complete until you have made the most of the kitchen décor. There is no need to change the look of your kitchen space completely. You can make a partial and small change, and that will work in your favor. For instance, start by installing new faucets. One of the best ways to do that is by opting for a stylish sink faucetIt can help to give your kitchen space a new look and persona. Once that gets accomplished, you can target the other décor elements of the kitchen.

There are times when a good-looking faucet can inspire you to decide on other changes that you need to make. For instance, the faucet’s color and finish might make you purchase a sleek and attractive sink. It can also suggest countertops of a specific kind and even dictate the tile colors. Hence, before changing any other aspect of the kitchen space, you should decide on a faucet that is within your budget and caters to your needs without much hassle.

The other aspect of the kitchen that you must address is the space and the appliances you decide to keep. At times, it makes complete sense to get rid of the clutter and keep only those appliances that are essential for you. For instance, after you have assessed the current structure of your kitchen space, you should retain the micro-oven and the dishwasher.

    • Choose a vibrant paint shade

Changing the home paint shade is one of the primary ways to feel the renovation and a new change. Sometimes, homeowners don’t wish to spend much time beyond a few days to see the difference in their home décor. While that is an impossible task, you can still make a smart move to make that happen. And it is here that you should say yes to the bright and vibrant shades. For instance, if your home has a grey hue, you can select shades like light pink, pale yellow, light orange, beige, lime green, and even pale blue. No rule says that your house needs to follow one uniform color scheme. That would make your room decor rather dull and predictable.

Instead, all you need to do is decide on a shade that makes you happy. For instance, if your living room is a warm brown with whitish undertones, you can use pink or pale yellow in other rooms. If the living room is pale blue, you can select a mauve shade for your study and other rooms. And that can only happen when you resonate with the shadow.

    • Wooden flooring will create an exclusive persona

One of the best ways to give your house an old-world charm without making it look highly ancient is to select wooden flooring. Wooden flooring makes a home look classy and comfortable. The vibe is warm and welcoming. There are several tones that you can choose from. For instance, you can say yes to the warm brown tones, creating a summer vibe.

On the other hand, if you wish to have a slightly formal look, the chestnut brown wooden flooring seems to be the best choice. The dark color ensures that people don’t get to notice the small spots and dents that can take place from time to time. It is an ideal option for houses built in cold countries.

You need to ensure that the wooden flooring is maintained correctly to last a long time. Since people will be walking on it, daily cleaning is essential not to develop a whitish layer of dirt which can make it appear untidy and take away its innate charm.

    • Decorations and wallpapers

In recent times, most homeowners are opting for wallpapers. These wallpapers are available in multiple designs and patterns that can easily complement the home décor design. For instance, if you opt for vintage home décor, you can select grunge wallpaper with flower patterns and prints. The best thing about wallpapers is that you can remove them when you wish to and use another one without any hassles. You can also use simple decoration items like vintage clocks, wall hangings, wall art, and many more. It will help to create an energy that is interesting and welcoming.

These are a few ways your home décor can be on point and appear brighter and better than most homes. Go ahead and plan right away as to what you want and how you want it. Please share your ideas with the expert and ask them to do the needful soon.

  • ‘Beautiful and loving’ model dies at age 25 – before the first Christmas of her child

  • Putin cautions that Russia’s ‘Satan II’ nuclear missile will soon be combat-ready

  • PRASA gears up for holiday travel at various intermodal stations

Hisham Emeran, acting group chief executive officer of the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), has welcomed the high demand for long-distance bus and rail services as the agency prepares for holiday travel at several intermodal stations.

The large number of travellers, according to Emeran, is evidence that holiday travel is gradually returning to pre-pandemic levels.

“This is a huge relief for the business given the devastating blow we were dealt with during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is also an indication of the importance of intermodal passenger travel.

“As a business, we aspire for our stations to be convenient integrated one-stop facilities for travel, shopping, while providing for fast-food restaurants for people on the go. We also hope that our customers enjoy the new improvements at our stations and the retail experience,” he said.

During this season, Park Station sees between 200,000 and 300,000 passengers per day, making it one of the largest and busiest stations on the continent.

“As a result, our intermodal stations, Park Station and Pretoria Station have ramped up their operational plans and improved terminal capacity to meet the pressure of the high volume of passengers especially in the last days leading-up to Christmas,” PRASA said on Thursday.

In order to meet the increasing demand for long-distance bus travel, Park Station has developed a new terminal for five additional bus operators, bringing the total number of bus operators at the station to24, while Pretoria Station is rehabilitating its entry points to reduce traffic congestion.

“The increase in passengers also provides economic opportunities for informal traders and porters. Park Station remains a vital space to sustain the livelihoods and survival of the informal economy.

“Thus, plans have been put in place to manage and support porters and informal traders while ensuring a safe environment for passengers and patrons,” PRASA said.

For the ease of last-minute shopping by travellers and the general public, Park Station has welcomed more retailers.

“Patrons and travellers can also look forward to the festive look and feel of the station in celebration of Christmas and for their enjoyment. Visitors can also create meaningful Christmas memories as photo booths have been introduced at various parts of Park Station,” PRASA said.

Other plans include the maintenance and repair of facilities, as well as the construction of eight brand-new energy-efficient, high-tech, high-specification escalators at Park Station to provide a pleasant experience for passengers and customers.

PRASA continues to place a premium on the safety and security of travellers and patrons.

“Our security plans have been bolstered with an adjusted security plan and more resources to meet the additional travellers and their safety.

“Security announcements are being made to alert travellers to be vigilant. Lastly, our visible patrols are more frequent throughout the day and night,” PRASA Acting Head of Security Alexio Papadopulo said.

The building of a new terminal for the new bus operators creates a safe, regulated, and orderly environment for passengers and bus operators.

Also in high demand are the agency’s long-distance passenger services.

On Friday, Shosholoza Meyl will provide its last service of the year for the Eastern Cape routes between Musina and Queenstown.

Both train services are completely filled, although reservations are still being accepted for the new year.

Translux and City to City, which provide Autopax bus services to over 100 locations in South Africa, will operate at full capacity and stay completely booked.

“PRASA would like to advise travellers to plan ahead their journeys, prepare for long queues, and make sure they arrive promptly at the stations for a smoother journey. This week will see a huge surge of people heading for various holiday destinations.

“The Agency is pleased to remain at the forefront of an integrated transport system that responds to the needs of the economy and diverse demands of the public including offering convenient multimodal transport options to reach their final destinations,” PRASA said.

The Season 3 finale, titled “Charade,” is a 37-minute emotional roller coaster that concludes with many key cliffhangers that must be recaptured. Emily’s world was rife with events, ranging from problems in office paradise and a surprise ex-girlfriend to a celebration in Champagne and multiple heartbreaking breakups.

Will Camille’s secrets eventually be revealed? Will the relationship between Nico and Mindy survive? Who does Emily ultimately end up with? Everything is revealed, plus much more! Since the Season 3 finale is so jam-packed with events, we figured you might require a comprehensive summary. Emily in Paris’s Season 3 conclusion is revealed below, but be warned that big binge-ruining spoilers lie ahead.

Emily in Paris Season 3 Finale Explanation: With Whom Does Emily End Up?

As with any outstanding episode of Emily in Paris, the climax begins with breathtaking images of the city. Emily delights upon learning that Gabriel called his new and improved restaurant L’Esprit de Gigi, in honor of his grandmother. She approaches him to offer her congratulations, and he invites her inside to meet his grandmother, who helped him prepare food for the opening.

Emily and Gigi’s grandmother form an instant bond, but it becomes evident that Gigi dislikes Camille. Camille reminds Gabriel that the restaurant will be closed on Saturday night due to her parents’ engagement party. Gabriel emphasizes the importance of the first week of the restaurant’s opening, but Camille reminds him that the restaurant will be closed on Saturday night due to her parents’ engagement party. She invites Emily, Alfie, Mindy, and Mindy’s new boyfriend, and Emily accepts the invitation despite the fact that we know this will not end well!

Back at the workplace, Julien explains that he has secured an important appointment with a prospective client. Emily instantly responds that she will begin generating ideas, but Julien becomes protective and assures her that he is preparing a pitch deck. Emily informs everyone about Gabriel’s remodelled restaurant opening, and after hearing about his hopes for a Michelin star, she discovers that Luc’s ex-girlfriend Marianne is a Michelin inspector. They broke up because Luc could not keep her true profession a secret, but he chooses to seek out to her following their meeting.

Emily meets Mindy for lunch later that day, and they are mistakenly seated next to Camille and Sofia. Emily wonders what Sofia is doing back in Paris, and she tries to hide from her and Camille as they dispute; nevertheless, Camille finds them and they go over to say hello. Emily welcomes Sofia back to Paris, but Sofia expresses a desire that she and Camilla were still in Greece. Awkward! Mindy inquires as to whether Sofia will attend the restaurant’s grand opening or the engagement party, to which Sofia responds, “Neither.” Double awkward! Camille states that Sofia must depart immediately, and Sofia responds that she loves Paris (Camille) and plans to return “frequently.” When Emily and Mindy leave the restaurant, Mindy has changed her mind about the engagement and urges Emily to tell Gabriel that she witnessed Camille and Sofia kissing.

On Gabriel’s opening night, Luc regains his flow and asks Marianne to dinner. He intends to win back his ex-girlfriend while simultaneously securing a Michelin star for Gabriel. Emily decides not to tell Gabriel about the enormous possibility, but she does urge him to prepare “particularly special” foods for Luc and his girlfriend. Alfie tells Mindy that Nico caused Emily to leave her party the night before, and Mindy hugs Emily, apologizes, and leaves to put Nico in his place while Emily is away. Mindy reminds Nico that Emily is her family and gives him one more chance to show himself at Camille and Gabriel’s engagement celebration. Nico says it’s been difficult to be around Emily since the act she pulled with Pierre.

The next day, Luc informs Emily that Marianne enjoyed Gabriel’s cooking and that he believes the restaurant is on pace to receive a Michelin star. They proceed to the conference room for Julien’s big pitch, and he hits it out of the park. However, Emily manages to outdo him, which drives him insane. He yells, “DO YOU HAVE AN OFF SWITCH?” before departing the room. When Sylvie follows him, he informs her that he is constantly being pursued by headhunters, and she reassures him that she recognizes the problem with his obsessive work ethic. Later that evening, Julien is observed at his desk responding to an email with the phrase, “I’ve evaluated your offer. Please refrain from discussing with anyone” Uh oh. There appears to be problems ahead.

Except for Mindy and Nico, who are missing from the family chateau, everyone attends Gabriel and Camille’s wedding reception in formal attire. Emily locks eyes with Gabriel, and it is evident that she still has affections for him and wishes to inform him about Camille’s affair. But before we see her next move, we watch Mindy frantically messaging Nico for his estimated time of arrival as she paces about her apartment. She becomes so irritated that she tells him he botched it, and then the doorbell rings. Surprisingly, Mindy’s guest is not Nico! It is Benjamin! He also has NEWS. The Eurovision song contest approved the song he created for Mindy, now they are off to Eurovision!!

Just as Mindy appears to be moving on from Nico, he calls and tells her that they will make it to the party. How? They land a helicopter so close to the outdoor engagement meal that it completely disrupts the event. But even prior to their arrival, things were not proceeding smoothly. Timothée, Camille’s younger brother (the one who gave Emily the nickname “brother fucker”), nearly challenges Alfie to a duel over Emily. Emily then confronts Camille about kissing Sofia and urges her to notify Gabriel. After Mindy and Nico’s dramatic entrance, Nico apologizes sincerely to Emily, and the two agree to begin over.

Back at Gabriel’s restaurant, Marianne is raving about the meal, and Luc has slipped away to contact Emily with the good news: Gabriel’s restaurant is on track to receive a Michelin star. Gabriel and Emily greet Luc’s news with loving words and an emotional double hug. The expression on Camille’s face lowers as she observes their private moment. It is evident that she is contemplating telling Gabriel about her affair and wonders if he has completely moved on from Emily.

Sylvie and her husband are strolling along the Seine in Paris when he reveals that he intends to create a private membership club with interest from significant investors. He claims that he is still waiting for one big fish to bite, but unfortunately, that mysterious investor is Louis de Leon, the owner of JVMA. Sylvie’s expression falls when she hears about their professional arrangement, and it appears that Season 4 will explore Louis’ troubling past behavior in greater depth.

Gabriel finally tells Camille the good news at the engagement party and begs her to marry him immediately. Gabriel speaks his vows and says “I do” to Camille in front of their loved ones in a chapel that is very conveniently located (? ). She accepts, and they lead everyone to the church, where Gabriel delivers his vows and says “I do” in front of their family and friends. Camille stops mid-vows and explains that the only reason they’re together is because she knew he was in love with Emily and made a contract with Emily that none of them would be with him. Then she immediately BROKEN the agreement and claimed Gabriel as her own. Camille informs everyone in the room, including Alfie, that Gabriel and Emily have been in love with one another since the minute they met, and she is confident that their sentiments have not changed. Camille announces that she cannot marry Gabriel and storms out of the chapel; Alfie then breaks up with Emily. He states, “I’m nobody’s second choice, Cooper.” Now, pursue your target.

After damage control, Gabriel and Emily exchange glances across the room and meet outside to converse. They debate the agreement, their residual affections for one another, and their current predicament. Then Gabriel offers a final bombshell: “Emily, there is something you do not know. Camille did not return from Greece in order to revitalize our relationship. She returned to inform me that she is pregnant.

The final lines of the season are uttered by Emily as she exclaims, “Oh my god,” and the final image depicts Emily and Gabriel sitting next to one another and peering into their turbulent future. Netflix! Darren Star! Complete Paris! We will need Season 4 immediately!

The third season of Emily in Paris is now available on Netflix.

  • ‘Gotta have some velocity on it,’ Noah Dobson’s shot evolves into an Islanders weapon

    .

When Noah Dobson initially joined the NHL during the 2019-20 season, he was a healthy scratch on a regular basis. This afforded him a great deal of leisure.

In the NHL, it is customary procedure for healthy scratches to remain on the ice for a lengthier practice following a morning skate, and to be worked harder on normal practice days. This required Dobson to work on his shot.

Dobson had offensive potential as a prospect, notably with his passing and special-teams ability, but he never scored more than 17 goals in a Quebec Major Junior League season.

“My shot was only adequate,” Dobson told The Post. “At this level, you must have the ability to put pucks in the net. Men are adept at blocking shots, therefore you must have velocity on your shot.”

On his current shot, nobody could accuse Dobson of missing these traits. Just 33 games into the Islanders’ season, he has scored 10 goals, three shy of his career high. A “good enough” shot is now a weapon, effective from anywhere on the rink and fast enough to beat goaltenders without the aid of deflections and tips.

Less than halfway through the season, Noah Dobson is only three goals away from tying his career high.

The rationale for the improvement, according to Dobson, is straightforward.

The next 23-year-old defenceman stated, “Just shooting a lot of pucks.” “I believe it’s something I’ve always taken delight in during the summer. Ensure that I am shooting many pucks on and off the ice. It’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing, and I believe it’s vital.”

Dobson is primarily a hockey lover, and he spends many of his off-nights throughout the season watching out-of-town games. It’s not a film session in the classic sense, but it allows Dobson to pick up on what players like Cale Makar and Roman Josi are doing nightly and adapt it into his own game.

In addition to working with skills instructors in Prince Edward Island during the summers, the most of his shot development has been the result of his own practice.

Dobson stated, “There are various shots you may practice.” “I’ve practiced my one-timer extensively on the power play. Those are the shots I typically obtain. However, simply positioning oneself in different places to get pucks off quickly or similar activities. Trying to have more than simply a solid slap shot and passable wrist shots. Kind of a complete set of shots.”

When Dobson is not playing or honing his one-timer, he frequently watches Cale Makar of Colorado to learn the finer parts of his game.

As the game has evolved faster and opponents have begun to close in on space more quickly, the slap shot, once a weapon utilized by players around the league, has gone out of favor. A hazardous one-timer is the most effective weapon, especially for defensemen, who typically possess the puck near the top of the offensive zone.

Last week against the Bruins, for instance, Dobson blasted a rocket from the right point to tie the game at two.

It also helps that the Islanders’ defensemen are more emboldened to contribute offensively under coach Lane Lambert.

Former Isles defenseman Devon Toews stated, “The way they generate offense now is a bit more advantageous for him.” It permits him to participate in the play a bit more than he was previously able to. By simply being a trustworthy player, he has garnered a great deal of loyalty, allowing him to make reads and take risks that other players would not.

Lambert added, “Our defensive approach is more aggressive.” There is less D-to-D passing and far more shots. Particularly from low to high… So long as there is traffic [on the Internet], he is having some success.”

Last week, in the Isles’ loss to the Bruins, Noah Dobson re-fires his one-timer to level the score.
    Twitter account @IslesMSGN

This low-to-high puck movement has benefited the majority of Islanders defenders, not just Dobson. Scott Mayfield is just one goal away from his career high, and Adam Pelech, despite being injured, is only two goals away from his. Dobson, however, has produced more than twice as many goals as any other defenseman on the Islanders.

This is partially due to his power-play time, but he also has seven goals at even strength. Three years ago, Dobson was on the ice with the other healthy scratches after morning skating.

“That first year was a significant improvement for my shot,” he remarked. “When I returned for my second season, I continued to earn those extra reps and shots.”

As the Islanders left the rink for practice on Wednesday, Dobson was slow to leave. He stayed a few minutes longer to practice one-timers.

    Inquiring with Toews
Toews helped the Avalanche defeat the Lightning in the postseason, something he was unable to do with the Islanders.
    USA TODAY Athletics

Prior to Monday’s Islanders game against the Avalanche, Toews was asked about meeting the Lightning in the 2022 Stanley Cup Final after facing them in the 2020 NHL semifinals.

Similar team, similar style of play, he remarked. Simply unique on this side.

And distinct in the outcome. Toews is now a Stanley Cup champion, and his defensive pairing with Makar may be the finest in the game. No one saw this coming, not even when the Islanders trading him for two second-round picks sounded like pennies on the dollar with a cap crunch looming.

Toews has lived in Colorado longer than he did on Long Island, and he now has championship experience.

“I believe it was one or two days after [winning], and I’m not sure where we were, but we were somewhere having fun. “Three or four of us are seated on a couch, and we were just discussing how much we wanted to do it again,” Toews added. “How much we wanted to enjoy it for the week or however long you have of going a bit crazy, but then… I’d want to do it again.”

Cory Schneider has made peace with his position as the Islanders’ backup goaltender despite his outstanding playing resume.

It is enlightening to converse with Cory Schneider because few others with his level of experience share his perspective.

Schneider, 36, is a former All-Star with the Canucks and Devils and played in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final, but he does not exude an air of superiority. Now the Islanders’ backup goalkeeper, he spends the majority of the season with Bridgeport of the AHL. Even if given the chance, he remains uncertain about his ability to play regularly in the NHL.

Monday in Denver, he responded, “I don’t know” when he was asked this subject. “Perhaps if I were 10 years younger, my performance down there [in the AHL] would be different. I am aware of the circumstance and my role within it. If other teams or individuals believe I can still play, it is up to them; for me, it is more about how I feel.”

With the Islanders facing a back-to-back against the Rangers and Panthers before the holidays and Semyon Varlamov still sidelined with a lower-body injury, it is at least conceivable that Cory Schneider may play. In a game against New Jersey last April under identical circumstances, he performed well despite the Isles’ elimination from postseason contention.

Lambert is more likely to compete with Ilya Sorokin in a back-to-back situation, which Sorokin has previously managed. In Bridgeport, though, Schneider had a save percentage of.921. It is not impossible that he plays for the Isles.

  • ORIENTAL SEARED TUNA SALAD WITH PLUMS RECIPE

This summer is really hot, and you may not want to consume foods that can warm you up more. Salads are an excellent option for a meal that is both healthful and light. This Oriental seared tuna salad with plums is one of those dishes that you may indulge in guilt-free on a hot summer day. The fruit mixes nicely with the fish since it does not dominate but rather complements it.

    ORIENTAL SEARED TUNA SALAD SUGGESTIONS

To brown the outside of tuna without overcooking the inside, a smoking-hot pan is required. Fish requires less than four minutes each side. Tuna is also a highly nutritious fish due to its high protein and Omega-3 fat content, which are beneficial for your joints, immune system, and muscles. As fish generally enjoys citrus, the salad and dressing are a light and flavorful complement to the perfectly grilled fish.

This summer, enjoy a light and nutritious Oriental seared tuna salad with plums, courtesy of Jenni Morris and Juicy Delicious’s recipe.

  • BACON AND NECTARINE-STUFFED CHICKEN RECIPE

Summer in South Africa is unparalleled. This is not just because the sun is shining, but also because it is fruit season and there are so many delicious dishes you can prepare for your family, particularly around the holidays. We feel that everything should be wrapped in bacon, particularly chicken, which is always delicious when combined with bacon. With this dish for chicken breasts filled with bacon and nectarine, you may give the holiday meal a fruity touch.

    BACON AND NECTARINE-STUFFED CHICKEN TIPS

In addition to imparting flavour, the sweet and sour citrus also tenderises the chicken while it cooks. The best method for evenly cooking chicken is to flatten and roll it. This recipe calls for the use of plastic wrap and a few toothpicks. You may bake them according to the instructions or throw them on the grill. They go well with crispy potatoes and a nice green salad.

Everything is better when bacon is wrapped around it. Try this recipe for stuffed chicken with bacon and nectarines by Jenny Morris for Juicy Delicious.
