Finally, Wednesday Season 1 is now available on Netflix. The eight-episode comedy/mystery series is ideal for a winter binge, and it’s quite a short and interesting binge, given its length. Wednesday brings the Addams family to life for a new age, and fans will undoubtedly want to see more of Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and the rest of the ensemble after meeting this version of the classic family.
Will you be seeing more of Wednesday and her family and friends? When will Netflix release further episodes of Wednesday, if so? Here’s all we know about Wednesday’s future on Netflix.
Will there be a second season of Wednesday?
As is the case with the majority of Netflix programs, we do not yet know. Netflix seldom renews new programs before to their premiere, so this is nothing out of the norm. Season 1 definitely leaves plenty of possibility for Season 2, what with Tyler’s Hyde side being shown and Wednesday having a stalker who suddenly knows her new phone number. Since the writers of Wednesday left opportunity for other stories to be told, it seems probable that they will return for more. If you want to see future episodes of Wednesday on Netflix, you must watch all of Season 1 as quickly as possible, and then urge all of your friends to do the same.

The first season’s production lasted around six and a half months. In addition, the show underwent around eight months of post-production before its launch on Netflix. If everything remained the same and Netflix announced a second season immediately, we wouldn’t likely see Season 2 until the beginning of 2024. Since so much groundwork for the entire series has already been set, Season 2 could certainly be produced more quickly. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to have the program on Netflix around Halloween 2023? That may be too quick a turnaround, but again, we’re only speculating.
This story will be updated as soon as Netflix comments on Wednesday’s future.
